A letter and a word

    Now a days i find many people having a letter and a word as a nick name of them .And yes it is very cool.

To quote out some examples

B Factor

D Experience

G Matter

    So i too decided to get one like that . If i take the letter “J” , which is like too popularly used as Java i mean there is already

J Button
J Text Field

        so something like J _______ may some times mean a Java Component . The next letter i like will  be “S” , but S usually comes in the end  and “N” too . Cant think of any other letter.

         I guess people didn’t look for them like this.. I need to find a buzz word and then shorten it .. 😦

I am now a Sun Certified Java Programmer.

        I took my SCJP 5.0 exam last week and cleared it and now i am a Sun Certified Java Programmer .

        I had registered before three months and couldn’t prepare well . It was on the last few days that i actually worked hard(Hmm as usual we study only when the exam dates closes na) .
    The preparation time was exciting learning new things and regaining the insight of certain fundamentals . Will share them with you another day but for now let me tell you the “Taking Exam” experience .

        The exam was scheduled for me at 11 . I started from home after a morning prayer . As usual i reached the place early only that this time i was too early i reached there at 10 , hmmm . There was too much crowd over there which i never expected .

        I somehow reached the reception and enquired about the exam and they said that they will arrange it by 11.15 AM.

        So i went and sat in the lobby near a fan . Took my book out and started revising. I saw the book for a half hour and was frustrated and i thot enough is enough and let me stop reading and i closed by book and was watching people around .

        Nobody was as tense as i was , people came in cool and took up exam.. Many were waiting to take oracle and CCNA . Nobody had books or any material to revise before the exam .Hmmmm i thought ” I am new to this “.It was 11.00 then 11.10 and 11.15 , i was not fully ready to take up the exam but i just wanted to finish it .

        Then i was chumma chatting with people . Some wanted to know if someone else can write in their name.. Hmmm effect of “Munna Bai MBBS” i think .

        Atlast they called me in by 12.00 . “What is the photo and address proof you got Mam” , a lady asked and i showed her my passport and license and Company ID card . She saw my passport said , “Mam please keep all your things in a locker” .
         I kept my bag in locker number 4 and they asked to give my finger print hmmm ok i made my thumb dirty and they asked me “address proof”, “it is in locker” i said , i had to go and get it again and show him and the lady said”I asked you to keep your things in the locker la” , i said “yes i had kept” and she said “kerchief too” (adi paavi) hmm ok i kept kerchief too in locker and came back , atlast they took me to a system
and started the exam . The exam was for 3 hours , i thought the time wont be enough and i prayed to God to help me and started .

        As i finished 60/72 i checked the time it said 2 hours remaining .. Oh God never thought i will be so soon, I had not taken breakfast and lunch and I didn’t want to go through the answers and finished exam by 1.30 hrs . I was scared to click the submit button and somehow clicked it after 15 mins.
The next 10 mins was so long, the printout came and the in charge lady had it in her hand and asked me to sign somewhere and asked something about locker and all . I had my eyes fixed to the printout in her hand . Hmmmm i am so nervous and these people are not telling me the result .. And atlast after all formalities the printout was put in a cover and given to me .
        
        I rushed outside and pulled the paper from out and it read “You need to get 59% to pass and your score is 77% . Result: pass“

I passed i jumped in joy..

    I almost forgot that i have a blog . I was piled up with so much work and tension that i forgot that i had a blog…..

    had to think for a minute to remember my blog name .

Time has changed the meaning of Work..

        Sometime back , There was something called the white collar and blue collar jobs.

        The white collar job means the person actually doesnt need to work hard and blue collar jobs mean the person has to work hard for their living… People wanted to do less work and get a big salaries.

        Everybody preffered White collar jobs and there was a craze for it. Later there were Government and Private Jobs. Everybody preferred Government Jobs, the main reason would as they would say is “To earn in a Private job we need to work really hard and harder.. and in a Government Job we can enjoy “. 
        Some people will have no work in their office and feel happy for it and they used to take it as a badge of honor..

        Now the scenario has changed. You finish any degree and you can get into an IT company.What do they do,just hire and hire a lot of people and pay a lot of money and give no work.. It is referred to as “The Bench”.

One such developer and his father

Father:Good evening son,today you are very late…

Developer:yes father i am very tired.. How was your day dad??

Father: Had some work to finish , not yet completed will finish tommorow. How was your day Son?

Developer:Tiresome, had to spent the whole day chatting with friends

Father:What do u mean?? Then how will you able to complete your works my son.

Developer:What work are u talking about… We get work only once an year…

Father: You have no work and u get good salary ah cool…

Developer: What is cool u only work all day.. You get all the enjoyment.

Father:puzzled!@2#$@#$

Sitting in beach is fun for a month or two only.

         These people or developers in the bench find it really awe full to stay without work……. How do u called them “employed but unemployed“? or”In traing for lifetime“?..

However it be…. present needs became “work work we want work”
