The majestic tank

I am a very patriotic person and i always wanted join the army and fight for our nation .That actually didn’t happen, Ok thats all old story .

I have all high respect for the people in the Indian Army (The least i can do) ..

Their Uniform and the march past and their appearance all seem magnificent and especially the tank looks very majestic. I love to see the tank that stands in front of the “OFFICERS TRAINING ACADEMY” near mount .

I think i had never taken my eyes off it whenever i go by that way.

It was all painted dark green some years back, now it is in the green and yellow

and brown/ red color, just like their uniform.

I wanted to take a photograph of it for long time now. Every tim

e i see it i would be in the bus and i wont be able to stop the bus

and take a photo of it . Now that i got a camera in hand, i tried to capture it from the moving bus.
My first two attempts got only a part of “The Thing” .

First time i was too late for the click and the second time i was soon i think.
At last one was close enough . I wanted to take photo that all people will see and admire and i guess someone is in the photo itself –admiring the majestic tank.

( Need some assistance on my fotographing skills…. )

One day i will get one uniform and take a photo ,standing near the tank ..

I know what you feel!- having militry family background (my father was a colonel) I love militaly style and all that stuff… There is something special about it..
I belive it has a certain quality that espacially missing in some “soft”, feminine cultures like Indian or Russian.
