NSG

When the twin towers was attacked one of my friend commented that why isn’t anything happening in India. I think that was heard by the evil people. We have had some terrorist attacks and bomb blasts but this one on 26/11 was the worst of all.
I and my family were glued to our Tv set for almost 2 days , changing from NDTV to Headlines Today and all available news channel.

I was actually angry on some of the news reporters who fought among them self for some space and they made it difficult for the police to perform their operations.
It was actually nice to see NSG work out and plan to take on the terrorists.

The NSG are the Hero’s of many people and i wonder why they were wearing the black cloth and cooling glasses over their faces during the interview.

I suddenly became very patriotic, i want to join NSG.

My Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday . It was a special birthday . The first birthday of mine in which i didn’t cut a cake . I think it sounds childish still it is the first time . I spent the day in velankanni . One of my cousin was getting engaged there  and we had to go there . All my relatives were busy with preparations and they almost forgot my birthday , i too didn’t want to divert their attention .  At last one good soul remembered my birthday and all queued up to wish me . Had to kneel down and get blessings from some 5 dozen people and it dozed off .

Some of my friends remembered my birthday . I was so happy to get calls from my college friends . Then i reminded some people about  my birthday (he he) . I then remembered all my birthdays till now , each and every one were something different and special .

Some friends from whom i expected didn’t wish me . Anyway we all forget birthdays . Thanks to all who wished and who didn’t wish .

Lately i have been very much interested in cars . Check out the new “Disappearing car door” .

First i thought it was some kind of magic stuff, but after seeing the video i know that it is a science stuff . Another mechanism to open and close the doors . Quite impressive and sexy but it doesnt seem secure to me .

What is it to have a home theatre at home

                                Before i start let me assure you that i have not got any home theatre at home . My sister(cousin) had bought a house in bangalore and the house had the steps to the first floor from inside(meaning that the first floor is not seperate and to be used by them only) i like such structure .

                                As we went to the first floor , there was a big hall which had no furniture or anything . I thought why on earth are they having this , i can think of only playing running and catching or kho – kho there (ya they are meant to be some of my favorite games) . After an year now , my sister called and said my brother-in-law(her husband) had set up a home theatre in the first floor and it had been his college dream to have a home theatre .

                                Only then i understood why they had that big room . i thought there will be a huge TV and a lot of speakers but to my suprise , there was a projector fixed to the celing and there were two chairs in the hall like the ones in a beach house .There were crotons here and there and window screens too were in a MATT effect .

                                Daily evening they watch a movie it seems in their own home theatre . I thought “just another TV.. why do they call it a home theatre ??” ,But when they played a video of jackson.. opps it was so cool . The sound was so loud and soft . It doesnt seem to be heard in the ground floor .Cool planning .

                                  I actually loved it. Wonder what my college time dream was….
