“Happy Programmer’s Day”

I had got a mail yesterday saying “Happy Programmer’s day” with the jpg saying the reason behind the date of celebration .
I searched the net about it and also wiki, but i cant find any related article . Even the wiki has been deleted i think . But i think it is a good concept and now a days we have somany “days” and Programming becoming big we guys should celebrate one such day . Having a holiday on that day is too much but we can celebrate one just for the day.
